Buggy Guild Missions
No problems here, did guild bounties/treks and a rush sat night on Seafarer’s Rest. Also a Bounty last night. We’ve had Sotzz the last 2 times with no issues either.

Hmm, it is very odd. We’ve also had problems with items vanishing then reappearing in the build queue and guild chat failing (whilst say & party work fine).
Thanks for the reply Xeph. I’m assuming seeing as im not getting many replies that most guilds aren’t having these problems. I’ll see if anyone else has anything to add then ill open a ticket with support.
There are some bugs, particularly the way rushes are set up is very confusing. If another guild is doing one, you can help with theirs. If you trigger yours before they finish, you get a message asking if you want to accept credit, even if your guild did hardly any of the work. If you say yes, the mission ends and your guildies get screwed out of personal rewards.
We got the Southsun rush last time out and we simply couldn’t finish it, because of a couple of the events that spawned in the middle of the course while we were doing it. Next time we’ll clear events first and then go back to doing it. Live and learn.
While there are some bugs, particularly bounties can be the luck of the draw, we’ve had relatively little problems with bugs in guild missions.
One of my guilds told me that the missions were bugging out for them. That was this saturday post reset. Gonna be re-trying them on tuesday.
Additionally, one of the challenges (save our supplies) was bugged out for us 2 saturdays ago. The turrets in the fort would fire, show the animation and effects, but be doinkittenage. Which made the challenge notably harder.
Pre reset Saturday was fine though for me. Was able to do a bounty, and even trigger a rush while the bounty was still ongoing (and then activate and do the rush)
Necroing my thread after a new GW2 record was set with last night’s guild missions. We had 2 Bounty missions bug out with 1 of the targets in each being unable to be triggered. Next the Puzzle bugged out giving us the ‘an officer is required to start this event’ thing no matter what rank tried activating it. Then finally our Trek had 3 locations that had no orange circle and therefore was uncompletable. GG Anet.
What the heck is going on? Is it worth putting a support ticket in about this?
Still having these issues often and the permissions for ranks to activate missions has been outright broken for over 8 months now. Everyone no matter what rank or permission can activate missions, ‘mission control’ (nor any other)check box has no effect.
Does anyone care?
I’m GM of a 450-500 strong guild on seafarer’s rest so it’s not just me asking. Help? =/

yup.. mission control is still broken. i’m having hard time having to shout at everyone not to touch the mission trigger “star”, still some idiots don’t listen making everyone had to rush in to avoid being left behind.
its about time , ANET.. pls fix the mission control…
