Guild Wars 2

We moved servers back in October. A month ago we unlocked Rushes on new server. We still guest to old server to do the other missions so that everyone gets full rewards. However, on new server we are not receiving merits for completing the guild rushes. We’ll complete the rush (more than 15 people run it). We leave the zone and move on with our lives. The Mission panel will show that we still have 3 hours remaining and when the three hours is up…no merits.

Anyone else having this issue?

Here’s what we’ve done to work around the issue. Do rush last and make sure someone stays in the area for the full 30 mins. It usually only takes 10-15 to get everyone through. We used to always end missions with rush but various circumstances have forced us do rush toward the beginning of our event.

Anyway, this is really annoying to me and wondered if anyone else is experiencing this issue. I hate to re-do rush when I could be killing crap and making money.

merit is awarded to the guild chapter on the event hosting server. the guild chapter on the new/other servers does not get anything.

if the guild chapter on the hosting server has its merit to the max already, they are wasted as overflow merit (250/250).
