Guild Treks are open world guild missions where members work together to find several locations across Tyria within a 20 minute time limit. These locations are randomly chosen from a list of 180 possible locations. Guilds must find twenty locations in 15 minutes. The locations do not have to be found in order.

Guild members can view the target locations using the missions tab or share the information via chat or other means. Each location is stamped with a yellow sparkling mark that is only visible during a trek if it is one of the target locations. It can be stamped on the ground or wall. It cannot be seen by guild members that are guesting from another server. Once found, the guild member must hit F to claim the mark.

All locations can be found in the open PvE world, although they may be found on land, underground, or even underwater. A few locations may require some jumping to reach the location, and some require the completion of a jumping puzzle.

Guild Bounties are open world guild missions where members work together to kill several targets across Tyria within 15 minutes. These NPCs are randomly chosen from a short list; to succeed, you must find and kill the NPCs. Once found, we must speak to the NPC to trigger the event, please DO NOT start the event before everyone is there. The targets spawn in open PvE zone. The key to success is finding the targets quickly. Everyone should assist in locating the chosen target.

Each member who succeeds in dispatching at least one target will earn a Guild Mission chest; members who participate in multiple events will only receive one chest. Guild mission rewards are on a weekly timer. If all targets are defeated within 15 minutes, the guild earns a reward that scales with the difficulty tier. Typically we activate a tier 3 bounty and choose the easiest target(s) for everyone to find and get to for personal rewards and fail the rest.

Guild Rushes are open world guild missions where members are transformed (for example, into a chicken or a bear) and then required to pass through a series of markers before reaching a finish line. During the rush, guild members are transformed into a specific animal and given a set of three skills. The first skill is always Search, which detects nearby traps for you and other transformed members, but the other two are specific to that particular rush.

Non-transformed players can assist by clearing or distracting mobs from the path and using boons such as swiftness or healing springs. Once begun, the guild must have members reach the finish line 15 times before the 30 minute time limit ends or they fail the rush. Multiple successful runs do count towards the 15, it does not have to be 15 unique guild members.

Guild Challenges are open world guild missions where members work together to overcome various tasks involving: protecting NPCs or objects, defeating hostile NPCs, destroying objects within a short period of each other, or simply surviving for a set amount of time. The guild is assigned one of 6 different guild challenges. Each challenge has unique requirements for completion, including a time limit.

Guild Puzzles are open world guild missions where members work together to complete a large multi-room puzzle with various elements, including jumping sections. They are very similar to an advanced mini-dungeon with multiple sections, such as Flame Temple Tombs or Vexa’s Lab, but require the coordination of multiple players to complete.

The guild is assigned one of 3 different guild puzzles and has 20 minutes to complete it. Each puzzle has a waypoint outside the entrance that will become uncontested once that guild puzzle is activated. Players will need to use another nearby waypoint until activated.

.. i think ANET makes Guild Mission just for big guild with huge member …. its not fair for small guild like me and my mates … we got 25 member .. with 12 member active …. when comes Guild Bounty … we always run out time to finish it

all of us has read .. a guild bounty hints at dulfy.net … but it wouldnt helps ..
cause 15 minutes time limiter for us .. is soooo annoyin

You have no obligation to do the 3 NPC’s guild bounty…
Anything in the way guilds earn advantages is linked with how many people are online at the same time, doing the same thing (eg. 5 members completing an event gives more points than 5 events completed)…

Smaller guild missions, yes, do not give as much as the bigger ones, but they allow smaller guilds to do missions too…
