While I am super happy that this has happened, I’m also a little bitter about it as well having previously bought THREE sets of the tools for 3 different characters. I REALLY wish that there was an option to trade tools back in for 75% of the purchase price as now I’ll only ever need 1 set ever again. :/

I have two different sets and I am ecstatic that they did this because now I can swap them to the characters that suit the animations.
I have a thing for the permanent tools and will definitely be getting more as they come out- I am only sad I only bought one chucky- now my mesmer and necro has to share

I wouldn’t be too unhappy about. Considering they are a convenience item, and using a bank to swap them between alts every time you want to go harvesting would still be ridiculously time consuming.

Also figure they now cost 1k gems, so you saved %20 on each one of them in the first place. (Not to mention the inflation, I’m sure you got those gems much cheaper than they are now.)

Make a ticket explaining that you would like a refund on some of the tools.

This thread demonstrates why Anet should query their customer database (we know all cash shop purchases are recorded in a database) based on whatever qualifiers they have and email those accounts rather than relying on a single posts in a random forum thread and relying on word of mouth.
