Guild Wars 2

I had a weird experience with the final chamber of the tower. It felt bugged and unfinished for me.
So i am asking if i had the same experience as everyone else, or if i had a bugged encounter.

First of: I entered first with a PUG, the one opening finished the dungeon allready. We had no cutszenes, i could not interact with anything. Not even the machine to replay the szene.

I entered alone right after and here is what i experienced:
- No other characters there beside me (no NPCs)
- Scarlet`s voicover was there, but it was almost the same as in the nightmare chambers.
- The only NPC i found was Kashmeer and she only had one line, where she replied to the Toxic Hybrid (along the line of “we won`t go down”)
- I didn`t encounter Scarlet. There was no dialog. I just entered the Boss-Room, killed three enemies and then i had to fight the Toxic Hybrid wihout any context.
- Kashmeer just walked up to the anti-toxin device and pointed there. I couln`t interact with her in any way.
- The cutszene only started as i used the machine in the room.

Appearently i should have met Scarlet and i feel like Majory and Kashmeer should have been there together and have some banter. Did i have a bugged session, or is that normal?

I have the same issue, my friends did the story part yesterday (with NPC) and unlocked the “nightmare” one with scarlet.
They invited me to complete the nightmare one and i got an achievement at the end (Tower Antitoxin Injector) and could interact with the machine to see the cutscene.

But there is no way to play the story instance for me, even if i leave the group and enter alone on my self.
Please fix this i want to see how the story envolves

Workaround: Party with a player that has not the achievement “Tower Antitoxin Injector” yet and let this player open the instance.
