Is it just me, or are the hybrid boss’ attacks varying slightly as the antitoxin injector bar increases?

I definitely ran it when the bar was empty and compared to now it has more spawns and slightly different mechanics. This may be attributed to the description of the boss, “Rapidly Evolves,” and should this be the case, there may be a point where we’d need a full party or experienced people to start taking him down faster.

I think they mean it evolves when it changes forms.

He “evolves” as the fight progresses. He starts in his larva form, evolves at 75% health into a standard form. then evolves again at 50% health and 25% health.

My first reaction was, “oh, I wonder what ‘rapidly evolves’ means” then he “evolved” 2 swords and was more upright. My second reaction was, “I want to be able to evolve swords!”

There is supposed to be a story mode and an explo mode. Could that be the difference?

When I saw the “rapidly evolves” thing, I told a pokemon joke to my party.
But when I saw it, I thought it was going to be something that stacked if we didn’t kill him quickly, but when that happened, I realized that it would be a form/tactic change gimmick.

Changing tactics is not a gimmick. It’s smart combat. Adapting to an evolving enemy is what makes a fight interesting.

I highly doubt when military tactics are taught at West Point they refer to them as gimmicks.

Stacking buff/debuffs are gimmicks…
