Hi all, I’ve finished the hybrid three times now with pug groups.
The first time I stayed in final chamber as other party members left (got message instance owner was leaving but was able to stay and leave when I was ready).
The second and third times basically after picking up my loot, I found myself back outside on the tri-chest entrance with no warning.
I’d really like to get the second diving achievement, so is it possible to leave the party after defeating the hybrid and remain in the instance to grab loot, inject and then leave by the other door?

Try starting the instance yourself, or asking your party to stick around.

I have little trouble with people leaving me in the lurch if I politely ask at the beginning.

ya your best bet is to mention before the boss you want the dive achievement so have them hold off on leaving right away or be the one in control so even if they all leave you’ll still be there.

Just solo the kitten thing… The boss is pathetic. Or at most ask one friend to tag along.

It is an instance, not a dungeon. It behaves the same as the personal story instances. If you want to do stuff after, start it yourself.

Thanks guys, got it this pm with a friend. Was a bit of a long fight as neither of us were spec’ed for max damage Ranger and Necro’ but we got there in end……

As soon as the boss died I stood at the exit to the diving goggles. I was ported out to the ledge the moment someone else injected the toxin.
