Q:
Nightmares within progress bar
It’s probably global because of overflows BUT it’s probably a timer in the end just so it lasts enough time for the next LS, I mean, there’s no reason to finish it quicker, who would want that?
I’m curious about this too.
I rather hope it’s really a progress bar. Even better if it’s per world, but even global would be cool. Makes it feel much more player driven if it’s an actual progress bar.
Sea of Sorrows
my feeling is this is just like a previous living story event, where it ticks each day regardless of the # of player injections.
I rather hope it is not a progress bar. For the sake of those people who cannot start for a few days. Wouldn’t it be just lovely to come back to the game Sunday and find out the other players finished the story too fast?
If it isn’t a timer:
What happens if the progress bar fills up before the next LS, and what happens if it doesn’t fill up before the next LS?
I assume that when the bar fills up the tower will be destroyed. After that will a new instance/cut scene open up, or will everything be done? Or do we fill the bar and then still need to wait for the next LS for anything to happen (almost like a dps check)? The idea of player involvement is great, but I do hope that it won’t hurt people coming late to the party (if the bar gets filled up in 5 days, will people who come by next week even be able to enter the tower).
If it’s a true progress bar, then at the rate it’s filling up………I don’t see it finishing any time soon.
It’s likely the same bar they used for the molten weapon factories.
did anyone tried guesting on different servers, to see if the progress changed?
