The last two visits to chambers, I’ve cleared the first room, but the roots don’t clear, so I can’t get any further.

It’s a trick, those white circle things are actually portals and you have to select the correct one to go through every time. Try again.

The only mystery to me was what the right portal was, but from the first time I saw them I knew they were portals. Does no one read what Scarlet says as you progress through the chamber?
