Tried at least once a day due to the purchasable keys, and since no one is in the tower anymore to farm it past the first week and the drop rate is terrible other than farming the hybrid.

So yeah, just another temporary event with locked down RNG rewards in which you can never guarantee that you’ll receive the rewards.

Feels a lot like the Flame & Frost Jetpack.

Anyone else not get anything interesting from the chest/event/etc yet?

(inb4 “buy the mini and backpack from the tp” – I refrain from helping flippers get richer whenever possible)

i bought the jetpack during the event for like 40g. I bought the rebreather for like 1.5 g. It’s not exactly the same.

I got a toxic spore Skin after buying mine for 10gold the first evening of the release (because I knew my luck, and considering that they’re above 20g by now it was a good idea)

Had to open more than 30 chests though. Other than that… I didn’t get anything Special, nor the mini.

I got the Mini Toxic Hybrid from the chest and didn’t even realise it. I only noticed I had it when I was looking at my Special Minis tab a few days ago to see what the new minis were and went, “Hey, when did I get a Mini Toxic Hybrid? O.o”

Hah, yeah =) do u feel all the usefulness and meaningfulness of miniatures now?

I’m waiting for the day ANet finally introduces Polymock, and miniatures are used as Polymock pieces.

Sweet dreams. But more than confident that they will not do it. Individual skills for hundreds of miniatures … this will never happen.
