It gave absolutely no information whatsoever.

It would have made sense slightly right before the invasions, but every single player already knows that Scarlet created the Molten Alliance, even if you didn’t do the additional achievements in Flame & Frost- because the MA are fighting right besides Scarlet in the invasions.

Seems like such a waste of resources when you budget for something flashy that all players will see but make it completely irrelevant.

What was the purpose of the cutscene exactly? What was it trying to say that hasen’t already been clearly communicated to everyone? Because I couldn’t see a single thing.

The purpose was most likely to give people that missed those events some information about what has happened up until now. Which is something people have shouted for since the Living Story started.

Think of it as a “Previously….in the living story…”

I think it’s great to give people a recap.

Great as a recap but srsly. Scarlet doesn’t kittening care. I mean, we destroyed an Airship Facility and she doesn’t care. Now we are destroying one of the most powerful bioweapons in existence and again, she doesn’t care. It doesn’t feel like we are achieving something, like it is a saturday morning cartoon. We need progress, storywise and against her.
The religion card to control the Krait isn’t that bad, I would love to see their reaction when they find out that the nightmare courtiers aren’t their prophets, but you also have to explain how they could pull this off and fast.
And for abaddons sake. Give us more information about Scarlet, the recap wasn’t bad but a few more, new, informations would harm anyone.

Did she not say something along the lines of “It’s been fun, I’m leaving for awhile”? It sounded to me like we won’t be seeing for the next few months, at least.

I like the cutscene and the LS overall, the only problem i have is that Scarlet is sooo ugly in the game and she’s depicted as a pretty little ingenius on the artwork. It was a great recap on what’s done so far. An item, like Jory’s Journal would be good, I like to rewatch cutscenes like that.
