I was thinking about the tower and the climb to poison it.

What happened to the giant airship equipped with the mega laser that brought down Z? Instead of sending people running up a toxin filled tower, why wasn’t the airship flown in over the top of it then fire its laser right down the middle of it?

Okay sure, I suppose there is a chance that the toxic tower might cause spores to form, but they do that already, but this would ensure the spores are smaller, more easily manageable and the vast majority of bad guys currently in the tower are gone too. The anti-toxin could be put into gun form and off you go spraying the smaller off shoots.

Having said that, why not convert the mega laser to fire a hole down the middle of the tower shaft then pour the toxin right inside it. The tower would have the toxin all in there in one go.

Yep I get that it would remove the game play aspect, but logically speaking, when you have air ships and lasers, sending a bunch of people in, without any safeguards (the air filters don’t stop hallucinations from coming – shouldn’t they disappear when you are breathing clean air?) in place is not the most logical of things to do.

Just my thoughts on the tower lately.
