So it’s almost a week past on TC and the bar for injections is ALMOST 20% Do you think we’ll actually kill the tower in the next week before the new LS content?

like you said, there is no chance.

When I saw where the antitoxin bar was at the end of the weekend, I groaned. Most folks are already done with their achievements and therefore, are done with the tower. I guess a few people are still playing it (pretty much third floor only) but farming rewards are far better elsewhere for a lot less pain.

So, either Anet re-tweaks rewards or re-weighs the antitoxin, or… we’ll still have the Tower hanging around mid-December.

Injecting antitoxin after killing the boss rewards you with ~10 silver, 5 pristine spores, and a champion bag. If you’re killing the hybrid anyway, there’s no reason to not do it.

We’ll get there. All ANet has to do is keep the Nightmares dailies going until the Tower is destroyed. Whenever there’s a daily to inject Antitoxin or kill the Hybrid, you can bet there’ll be players going in to complete it. It may take longer than 2 weeks, but it’ll get done in the end.

they got to make the top of the tower easier to access otherwise nobody will doing the whole 3rd floor just to reach the top and do one instance….

Who ever said we had to do it before next week’s update?

The whole point of the antitoxin injections being player-based is that it’s up to us to destroy it. If we don’t, it sticks around, and all the Toxic Alliance stick around with it. Once we clear it, those kittens will leave (presumably).

Consider “not destroyed yet” the event’s failstate. Maybe in future Living Stories they’ll have a player input meter that also has a timer on it so it can actually fail, that would be neat.

Well in the sense of it staying around if it’s not destroyed i’m all for never injecting anti toxin again, we’ll actually get some perma living story content =D
