Better Armor
Until lvl 35 everything is pretty bland and boring. Then you can shell out 3g for the first cultural armour set.
I can do thirty Five-Dolyak Arm Curls.

I am enjoying my karma bought set I bought in the Cathedral of Verdance. Even tho I look like death now. lol
Imo, the norn culturals are some of the better looking. Wish I figured that out before I committed to a light class character, the medium and heavy ones look much better.
That said, you’re pretty much stuck with the same looking armors in groups of 10 levels. Probably more, but the standard loot armors are few and far between.
at level 15 you dont need specific look on armors. you level so fast that you will out level any armor you buy in no time. at least until level 60 you should care more about the stats on the armor compared to how it looks like.
You can always save up gold and transmutation crystals if you really care all that much. Try going to every major city and getting the 100% completion, that usually gives you crystals and then you can have any armour look however you want.
