Are their random moments in game where you have no control effects on you but your unable to move? Glued to the ground? I cant get out of the “Stuck” unless I cast Empower or Whirl. I have described this to endless members of my guild and they always say it never happens to them and tonight I heard another Norn mention it and I got so excited that it wasn’t JUST ME! This happens to me a LOT!

Mainly in Combat / Events. And when it happens If someone is dead at my feet the game wont even let me rez them. I am 100% unable to move.

It’s happened to me a few time in W3. In the middle of fights. the first time I thought it was some CC, the next time I realised I had no conditions on me. It was just like my move buttons had stopped working. In front of a lot of defenders on Stomemist’s battlements; Even though my skill buttons were fine, I didn’t last long…

Yeah it has happen more now then in the beginning. The quickest way out of it for me in my rocket boot since I am an eng. If I do not use them I stop pressing all keys and it seems to clear it but that could be just my imagination.

I thought the issue had gone away until yesterday. When the character is stuck, any skill that causes the character to move will make the character unstuck. None of the keys that are mapped to movement will work. Also, a Waypoint will unstuck the character but is not a good solution if you’re in the middle of combat.

It appears that the character gets stuck during combat. Sometimes when the enemy does a skill that causes the character to move that it will become stuck at particular times. There doesn’t appear to be a pattern.

I’ve been playing different races and haven’t noticed that it was particular to getting stuck on the Norn, but you may be right.

I had not encountered this until last night, I only noticed it when I was fighting Frost Trolls actually. When they would start their AoE and the red circle would appear I would be unable to move unless I dodged or used a movement skill even though no movement altering effects had been applied yet.

It’s not just Norn. Same thing happened to my Asura warrior earlier, right at the borderlands spawn point. I thought it was my keyboard at first.

All the time. I just Jump Shot to unstuck, but if I’m in combat I can’t switch my pistol for rifle so I die.

My female norn is the shortest height!

yea this happens to me non stop now. Half the time it causes me to die. =/ I try to be quick and check the buff bar to see if I have any movement impairments on me, if I dont I hit empower then try to push forward. but then its normally a collision issue with a drove of mobs in front of me and a lot of times I’m in a big red AE ring or two.

It seems to be if somethings is at my feet. A dead player or a rock or something like that. And when it happens I cant even rez another player or dodge.

i have had things respawn one me trapping me, and i have fallen through a few buildings with my norn. I think its actually a glitch in the comunication between computer/server/corrupt file and not a race specific issue.

YES. Man I didn’t think anyone else was getting this issue I’m glad to hear it’s not just me haha. My norn periodically will get completely STUCK in a spot while I sit there slamming around on my keyboard. Some movement abilities will help the situation, and using a waypoint as someone suggested.

Yes, I’ve had that happen too, but never on my Norn! My Asura elementalist gets stuck like that all the time and the only way to unstick her is to log to character select and back.

Happens to me too, is it seriously a norn thing? It is bad enough I have to deal with the bouncing camera (just let me scroll ALL THE WAY into first person for craps sake)in every single puzzle I do, now this too? sigh

Human Guardian here, I occasionally am experiencing the very same thing.
This is NOT a racial issue.
Might I add ~ It doesn’t surprise me that so many Norn get stuck.
