Hey guys and girls, i played a female-norn-thief,

im done for a while and im a bit dissapointed,

i choose the norn first of all because they like freedom, to be independant, proud and drink a lot

try to drink 10+ Fire Whiskey and do a jumping puzzle LOL

i hate the voice of my norn, i hate the stupid Eir, shes just like your mother,
i liked her pet tough, it was a decent tank and didnt say any bulls..t ^^
i hate the plant guy at the end, this whiney “accept my destiny”-clisheetype of noble hero gosh

i started with Charm and drifted of to Dignity, too bad i didnt stick with charm -_-, this diplomatic stuff is so boring,
i liked the way my norn didnt care actually at all for all the 5 dead peoples on my way trough the personal story,
but my character felt like a roboter, stupid endless strategy discussions

i saved the stupid cow, wanted to keep my horn and couldnt abuse it couse it was destroyed at the end anyway = a troll in pq
failed badly to save the hylek and killed dragons in my sleep, … quite dissapointing story and same dissapointing end boss fight :/

i have no use for my racial skills at all, thats quite a pity, i was so excited to be able to transform myself into animals

just the thing i like it to be a norn-huge-giant-thief like a dead-bringer,
behind you, behind you, look there is some huge black shadow behind you ^^

I take it English isn’t your first language, but you do a really good job for the most part!

Now own to your concerns. GW2 should hire some Ex Bioware people for the story aspect.

GW2 needs the same people who worked on the GW1 stoy line to work on the Personal story in GW2.
I mean we all know that the personal story is terrible in Gw2

I did find the personal story involving the horn kind of forced and could have been done better. Lucky for me I picked the order of whispers and had a good time with Tybalt.

I have played a male norn ranger almost exclusively since launch and for the most part enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the story line; having played around with all the races I found the norn story line to be the most enjoyable (also picked order of whispers with Tybalt!)

Unfortunately there are several things that really, REALLY irritate me.

First is the racial skills. This in addition to the story line was the main reason I chose a norn. The racial skills need some love, mainly just remove the rooting.

Graphically the male norns really suffer. The animations are clunky. The ranger sword attack for the male rangers doesn’t flow well at all. Got no problem with the drop kick but the progression almost looks like it is missing portions of the animation.

Clipping makes me want to cry. Side sheathing is absolutely abyssmal…really.

Two toned hair and beard even though I picked the same colors for for my hair and beard…come on man!

All that being said the female norns seem to be better off, my daughter plays a female norn ranger and her skill animations look great and I am quite jealous…

Well, the personal story severely lacked in quality.. so I never finished that.

Besides that though, I love my beefy Norn Guardian. His emotes, looks, and sheer epicness are definitely a plus. I’m 100% satisfied with my Norn selection.

Our elites DO suck, however, the Snow Leopard is GREATTT for WvW. 5 second stealth on a 10 second CD, hugeeeee range on the charge, etc… I just started using it recently and absolutely love it. (Also due to Guardian Elites sucking badly)

All in all, I really like my Norn.
