and thanks for that! It helps a lot!
I’m using the Tier 3 body, legs, and feet, with invisible head & shoulders, and the CoE hands. It looks freaking great together, colors are Abyss main with accents of white and teal.
Talking in pos of concept before looks, a Norn can’t play a sneaky thief role or an assasin… My best advice for a Norn Thief would be to dress it like a pirate; another kind of scoundrel that perfectly fits the role of a rogue in the party. Sword Pistol looks awesome on a pirate
There are many sets that can be mixed to get a GREAT pirate look.- (though the complete pirate set is not very impressive).
After this bath I shall post a pic of the best looking thief in all of guild wars
Mindtrick has been taking an 8 day bath. Impressive.
just another case of OP permanent stealth :P
Good Lord…almost a month…Mindtrick must be waterlogged….or has drowned
I’m also interested in an answer to the OPs question. I’ve hit up the galleries and the PvP locker but it’s just not coming together yet. I went with a smaller stature norn male and he looks great right now in lvl 20 blue gear. Just hoping I can find an epic set at 80. Might be going Magitech at this rate.

it looks good for an elite killer (colors could be more real though), but you need to do something about your boots and gloves… you have a problem… ehmmm how to tell you this.. YOU ARE ON FIRE! GET WATER OR SOMETHING BEFORE YOU GET HURT!
(I never get the “I’m on fire” look… what crossed the armor designer’s head still puzzles me).
a) I’m from the snowy shiverpeaks, those little flames keep my extremities warm
b) now with Incinerator (wich gives even more fire around the arm), it looks even sweeter

the fire usually goes on top of the logs to get warm, not on your arms…
now tell me… how good does it work being a living torch while trying to hide in the shadows?
I’m sorry I can’t say anything good of incinerator… it is as nice as the legendary bubble gun or the pony bow. It’s not a weapon.. its a Disney toy.
well luckely this is fantasy & not real life then huh
gay-sb & fugly-pistol I give you that, but incinerator s one of the few legendarys that looks good, & its a gastorch burnin at couple thousands of degrees, if u wanne give somethin like that to your kids …

Nah man I’m not hating,.. I know it is kitten chat or forums because you can’t hear the tone of how someone is telling you something but I’m not hating or trolling. I honestly don’t understand the “dressing codes” of some players.
When I think of Norns, the picture in my head is much more similar to the concept art, and I find this picture in particular closer to what I imagine of a Norn in medium armor (even the hooded norn in the middle).
I mean, CoF armor may suit a Charr wanting to be Flame Legion or maybe some parts like the legs for a Necro since they look ragged,.. but when I see a human ranger, full cof armor… it just puzzles me what’s on his head while dressing him. Maybe he doesn’t have transmute or the player is on the “gearing” phase and not dedicated to the look… but if you are working on a character look, concept behind the look always comes first in my book.
good that everyone has their ow taste, so you see a lot of diversity cuz otherwise we would all look alike.
& what your view of Norns is, isn’t necessarily the view of others, especially since its fantasy there is no truly right or wrong look, its all in the own persons perception.
lastly even if the look of a character doesn’t match its lore backgrounds doesn’t have to mean he looks bad, saw an heavy asura in arah armor standing next to me here in LA, and though he couldn’t be further from what he was “supposed” to look, the evil midget looked absolutely awesome
