I have recently fallen in love with Norn’s, I have three so far and I wish to make a fourth. However the hairstyles I like I have already used on my previous ones, and my fourth Norn looks too familiar and I want her to stand out. Both male and female Norn’s need more hair options, and I was wondering if any further customization is in the works?

Heck, this applies to pretty much every race. I would really appreciate any helpful responses.

I suspect they will add hair styles in at some point and why I suspect this is that a lot of NPCs have been added recently with unique new styles. I hope that’s the case.

I don’t see why Human female and Norn female hairstyles shouldn’t be interchangable. They’re both humanoid…I mean I understand why you couldn’t have Sylvari or Charr styles interchangable but Humans and Norns are very similar and it would realistically only require scaling up or scaling down the models so not a significant amount of work by ANet.

Actually I respect that not many of the styles of humans and norns are even similar If you look closely though, some of their hairstyles are the same.

I would like them to add maybe buyable styles into the game, such as ‘The Druid’ a long tangly style, which can be adapted for all races and be all leafy with flowers for sylvari. I feel truly long loose hair is missing, I love to look like I have been out in the wilds exploring for 10 years. Some of the concept art of the races has gorgeous loose hair, and I have already seen many threads of people asking for it. There are ways to do it with minimal clipping though it’s not an issue for me anyway. I use the longest style in the game atm, the fluffy top ponytail on female norn and it doesn’t clip too badly.

This could open them up to add more styles, one by one, tailored to what people want the most.
