I must say I am very disappointed in the new hairstyles for the Female Norn.

(from top to bottom, but I think you get which ones I’m talking about anyway)
The first one looks like Marsha Brady (yo peace man!!!!!)
The second one looks like some bad hairstyle from the 80’s
The third one is ok, but the hair should have tangled down off the back (this one looks like it is missing a large portion from the back)

These styles definitely show a male came up with them. If it was in fact a woman, I don’t know what kind of woman would have come up with these – and I don’t want to offend a lady.

I know ArenaNet will not take this into consideration and change them, of course, but my request is that in the future they be a bit more creative.

Once again the Humans got the best hairstyle (and RACIAL!). Really sucks :/

I agree I had been waiting quite a while for more hairstyles and am a little disappointed (where is that one from alpha??)

However a few of them the devs didn’t come up with, source kind of cracks me up.

those new for norn ladies are HORRIBLE
I had spare hair kit in my inventory and when they anounced that there are new hair styles I was very excited
But I ended changing my hair style to the old dreaded one

I kinda like them. They at least add a different flavor to what already is there. Of course, I am not changing either of my norn ladies’ hairstyles, but I do think they add some nice variety. I kinda like the one with the three ponytails for some flair. I love the updo for casters. And the other one is elegant, but yet big and epic and long.

I want a Conan the Cimmerian hairstyle on my “Norn” Warrior male NCSoft!

They’re not really my style, but I always appreciate having greater variety for players.

I looked the the hairstyles because I was wearing a hair obscuring helmet on my norn due to the hair clipping the shield on her back. I found a nice style that doesn’t clip her armor or shield. However, I think it was one of the old styles, not one of the new ones.

I really just wish the new long hair style moved more, I wasted 2 kits on my norn to change it, went out to explore and realized it was glued to my back….. and quickly changed back. gold down the drain

I don’t really like them.

The long one doesn’t make much sense to me- Why would you tie the hair all the way down there? The hairstyle looks very flat, as well, which kind of makes me think it’s painted on rather than an actual model. Also, the hippy headdress thing doesn’t do anything for me.

The three braids hairstyle would be good, but it’s got that jewellery there. You’ve got some sweet primal looking braids and leather ties, and then you have a very intricate looking headpiece. Why the discordance? Things need to match!

The explodey bun thing is a bit too vertical for my tastes, but it’s probably my favorite of the three. I guess I don’t really like it because there’s that sudden curve just past the bands holding the piece together- How is it sticking up like that?

Yeah, out of that set, that one is probably my favorite. Love how your Norn looks with it!

I can agree that many of the new hairstyles got disappointing, but that is a matter of personal taste. I liked the female-Norn hairstyle with the coronal so much, that I bought a kit ^^
