Hi, I have a male Norn ranger with (almost all) T3 cultural armor. Compared to the female version, it feels extremely underwhelming: http://i.imgur.com/rDxTYAy.jpg

The female version seems to have more details and way better textures, while the male version doesn’t even have any shiny metal parts, it’s all matte.

Any of you who bought the set feel the same way? I guess this is kind of a request to Anet to refine this armor set a bit to bring it up to par with the female version.

why did you buy it if you dont like it then? buy makeover kit and change gender.

I still like the look, I just wish it was as good as the female version. And no, I don’t want to change gender.

I think it’s just a matter of personal preference. Personally, I like the male armor set more, and don’t like the female one too much.

I’m with lotus, it is about personal preference. I like them both, I can see what your saying about the female being a bit shinier than the male. Personally I think the male looks more like a ranger would, the female looks more like a lightly armored guardian.

I like my set of Norn T3 Medium.
(I now have my armor with Royal Blue / Gold and like it much better)

Oke oke it costst like 7 gold but its worth it. Although u shouldn’t make ur female

Hmm, if the ‘scales’ on the male medium Armour don’t reflect light like the female version (like they appear not to on your screenshot) that’s something that should be fixed I think. Other than that , the male medium armour as a whole though I think is the best looking norn cultural armour in the game at the moment.
