Hello.

i created a Norn, just cuss of the tranformation, but i need some info regarding it.
I hope that the transformation is Permanet untill you transform back to norn, but i always get disepointed , cool stuff rarely happens, and when you whant to transform back its a 180 sec is semi okey.

Can anyone discribe the tranformation skill.

Lasts 30 seconds long, and is very weak.

They are really just for show and flavor.

Useless skill other than fun purposes. Can’t even jump while transformed.

In wow, you are a bear/cat/aquatic/boonkin forever until you hit a button.
and can change back instant/ although its a global cooldown for 1 sec wich sucks.

Basicly there is my patient regarding the tranformation, 1 sec global cooldown, is enoying, so my thoughts of a CD of 180 sec is just realy stupid, and a 30 sec long?..

This is said cuss , in gw 2 they state that Classes are not classes but professtions, so i picked the class Norn with the professtion Warrior, there for the norn are shapeshifters, and are suppose to live on shapeshifting.

There is reason “Become the Snow Leopard” costs 30 skill points, on a par with Tome of Courage. It provides a 5 second stealth — a very useful skill for classes that don’t naturally have it (which is most of them).

The class elites are in the great majority of situations the ones you should be using. But in certain situations, the racial elites can be swapped in. I use Become the Snow Leopard when I am scouting in WvW on my Guardian.

I’ve been looking at the Become the Raven and it offers some nice control abilites that may help a group escape a wipe situation and run away, such as a knockback on a 5 second cooldown, an area daze on a 10 second cooldown and a cripple condition given on the autoattack. It may only cripple for 2seconds, but if you spam #1 I reckon you’ll be able to cripple an enemy for the full duration of the transformation (30 seconds). Where else in the game can you obtain 30 seconds of cripple?

Bear is quite fun to play, wolf has a great AOE regen, snow leopard quite nice run and hide skills but raven was abit bad for what it offers too much time wasted moving away from the target. at least now you can dodge it wasnt working in bw1 and bw2

I’ve killed plenty of people with “become the wolf,” I don’t get around to the others much though — they don’t fit my play-style.
