It’s the carlton dance. It’s freaking awesome! Best dance in the GW franchise yet.

Of course there are always haters, but if they hate the dance, no one asks them to type /dance anyway. Let them rage and cry, we all know the carlton dance will never be replaced. It’s perfect as it is.

I just googled Carlton Dance and now I dislike it even more.

They should’ve just given us the option to do whichever dance we want. Like

/robot
/haka
/carlton

etc.

Heh, if you have to google Carlton Dance, you’ll never get it. It’s a real treat for those of us who grew up watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, which likely includes a majority of the devs.

Oglaf’s suggestion, however, is well taken. The only possible issue I can see with that is animation issues between races, so maybe Charr and possibly Asura would end up with a smaller, more limited dance set that didn’t cross over with humans, norn, and sylvari (who are shaped similarly enough it shouldn’t be an issue for them).

I think the Norn dance looks ridiculous myself, but I find it amusing/fitting with the thought that this is what Norn dancing looks like after they’ve had a keg or two, under the delusion that they’re the greatest dancers ever. XD

Norn dance has to go. It’s funny at first but gets old fast. Always feel I have to put the jester hat on when /dance which I avoid as much as possible..

^this. The Carlton and the Haka are the best dances in the game, imo. There will always be something we don’t like about a specific race or profession or the way the armor cuts through the hair of our char or something simple but annoying. We just play and deal with it.

Then lets switch and give the Carlton to Charr.
