Does anybody really ever use them?

i mean Wolf is pretty useful because of the lifesteal, but it only works in PVe where enemies will stand still.

bear is ok for WvW because of the little control and HP boost, but does it really have the offensive kick?…not really, better off untransformed.

same goes for raven and snow leopard.

honestly, the only good elite i’ve seen so far is hounds of balthazar, other racial elites are pretty much a gimmick.

well, the human elite, I think it is avatar of Grenth or something to that effect (the one that chills/poisons nearby enemies), has some uses for some classes. I have seen guardians use it to great effect. but yeah the Norn elites are mostly worthless for any kind of pvp and everyone knows it. you will occasionally see snow leopard because it can attack on the move and can stealth, but that is about it. their cool downs are too long for their sub par effects. racial abilities aren’t intended to be great, though it would be nice if all the forms could attack while moving at least.

The only worthwhile one is Snow Leopard because it grants stealth capabilities to classes that don’t have access to it. I’m still not too eager to replace my Signet of Rage as a Norn Warrior though…

The bear sprint, (ability 5) seems neat. You can basically troll a zerg by running straight through it and then half across the map.

Nope, I picked norn because i thought the transformations would be useful but they’re not worth wasting an elite slot over.
