Owlsdottir is an innappropriate name? Why?
It might be for “lsd”. Or not, that’d be silly.

Well, that’s better than anything I could come up with…. :/
That’s a fairly long last name, are you sure you didn’t go over that character limit on the name?
Because Owl was lost to Jormag.. the pain of remembering Owl is too much for the server to handle.

Owl does not back down from a fight!

“Release “Owlsdottir” from the grip of the Dragon Naming Policy. The daughters of Owl deserve to make their legends. The only drugs they are associated with is a good stiff flagon of mead.
If you have any love for the Spirits of the Wild, you will make it so. Owl died so all Norn could live to fight another day. Will you forsake her sacrifice? Set her daughters free. Now."
^ This is not a threat, merely a “suggestion.”
The most likely answer is the lsd theory. To test it, try any name that doesn’t use known words but does have ‘lsd’ somewhere in it.
Jormag’s tooth rent deeply Arena Net’s naming policy team…
CORRUPTION!
I’ve tested it, and it is the lsd part. It’s too bad, because “sd” is always going to be a part of any -dottir name (you need the s to show possession). So every lore appropriate name that ends in l, if you add “sdottir” to it, it won’t be allowed.
Something to keep in mind if you’re planning names.
So now you can’t mention the name of an analeptic? Is “caffeine” also banned? :P
Why not just try Owldottir instead?
