Q:

Right, first of all, this is RP-related, mostly.

So, my norn has gotten into a challenge, where he is to prove that he can take down a giant alone, unarmed, and unarmoured, and using only his head, no fists or arms or the like. This would be easy if it was possible to simply talk it into a death situation, but since the game mechanics don’t allow it, i need another option, especially as I can’t attack it with no unarmed attacks available in the game.

i don’t know yet which giant it will have to be, so simply yelling a lavine down over it may not be an option.

Any ideas as to how to pull off this seemingly impossible feat? And im pretty sure simply talking someone else into killing it for me is against norn bear-follower ego

warrior, although can probably replicate the effects of other classes as long as it makes sense within the warrior’s capabilities (sorted through alting)

Hmm. Instead of talking someone else into killing it for you, how about stealingh someone elses kill? They are fighting it, they get it almost down and you being the strong bear follower that you are take the last attck to bring it down using a yell. You then literally and figuratively used your head. Didn’t enlist help, didn’t use your limbs to attack, and can still be unarmed and unarmored. In the wild, larger bears have no problem taking a smaller bears kill.

edit: what about bear form? does it have a bite attack or is everyhting claws?

Pretty sure you can’t accomplish this in-game due to game restrictions, but as far as story-wise, it would be an easy matter to lure a giant into chasing you over the edge of a ravine (which was hidden behind a thick hedge), but you duck out of the way at the last minute. Giant can’t stop in time and goes over.

If this is a roleplay thing… Shout down an avalanche on top of the Giant.

Problem solved.

Ranger,

just rock out the horn and shout some encouraging words to your pet.

no physical blows necessary.

If you mean real Giants, I know only of a handful, 2 friendly and 2 group champions. If giants include larger creatures like Ogres and Ettins, that’s another thing, and a pet could definetly take them.

1 of the friendly giant wanders into a cave (to visit his dead friends in an event), I don’t know exactly where the event starts, I know where it ends…But you could chalk it up to luring him into a cave-in?

I would assume this is some sort of running headbutt (despite the animation looking more like you hit them with your elbow. What kind of bull charges and then elbows people? o_O).

Obviously it would take forever to actually kill one in-game this way (and you’d need some way to not die while running around waiting for the cooldown), but in theory it could be done.

For roleplaying purposes, I’d go with one of the Totem Shapes and bite it to death. To actually do it in game under such restrictions? Probably impossible.
