Norns being large have various camera zoom issues as well as clipping with gear and ect. Do you think clipping will ever be fixed or should I abandon playing some classes like Guardian with its aegis clipping and such?

This may not only be on Norn, my male human guardian has the some problem sometimes also when equipping a shield and having it sheathed his hair clips through the shield.

Abandon Norn? Oh how dare you. Tbh I haven’t noticed much clipping, but I’m not a real stickler when it comes to these things

For balance reasons, all the PC races have identical hit-box sizes. That’s why you can squeeze under things that are only as tall as your shoulders. The problem is the camera perspective, and when you do that kind of squeezing the camera things it’s backed into a wall. ANET needs to move the camera focus to about the waste level to mitigate it imo.

reminds of this quest I did for a Giant the other day in-game I HEARD something talking but it was the same coloring as the surroundings so I was like What where who?
So I had to pan the camera 8 miles up to see this guy but the stupid tree nearby kept clipping my camera freaking it out

The larger female norn bodies have serious clipping issues with the back of many medium armors, I’ve found. Nothing sillier than seeing your character’s butt protruding out the back of their coat.

What Anet needs to do is give us a first person camera. I was doing the troll jumping puzzle in la with my buddy (i am norn and he is human) and it was nearly impossible for both of us because we couldn’t see a thing because of the camera.

I have nothing but problems with the camera in buildings and caves, literally can’t see a thing.

Well, my norn female’s butt/boobs are to big for her armour xD. Some parts of the butt is clipping through same with some parts of her boobs :x

Ive also noticed this,especially when wearing certain types of shield,my arms clip through and back clips thorugh,such a shame because it looks so ugly and im not running around with a shield clipping through my body,i just cant stand to watch this constantly.The same for axes swords,hell…alot of weapons clip through.Think theres not much they can do about it though.

My Norn mesmer masks never really show, because the hair is always covering them.

also i’ve had lots of troubles doing Dark Room puzzle (specifically the area with caged creatures in it) because my sheer size cause the camera to get stuck while my character moves, which made it very very hard to do the tricky jumps.

I realize that you will probably never see zero clipping issues, but Norn definitely has the most issues. Sometimes half of my hands are going through my waist (I chose the fattest body build and I’m regretting it.)
