Heya all, as the title suggests I’m looking for some help with coming up with a Spartan style armor set for my female norn warrior. I’ve tried a few options which I sadly do not have screen shots of at this very moment but was wondering if I could have some suggestions from all of you norn players out there.

I’m not very picky on the out come it can look like a commoner spartan woman’s outfit since the women were known to wear short skirts and all that or to heavily armored 300 themed type of armor (Very little armor at all from my understanding)

For your information, the 300 movie doesn’t show actual Spartan armor. Spartans in real life wore full armor sets, not bare chests with shield and helm only :P

Big difference in 300 style “armor” and Spartan armor…

If you want to go less 300 look, then use the T2 Eagle legs and chest. The T2 boots and gloves work as well, I think. For her head, the Vigil helmet is the obvious choice. Shoulders could also be Vigil as well but there are a variety that would work fine.

Edit: Also try Barbaric and Pit Fighter pieces.

I don’t think we will be able to make a “commoners” look a la toga, but you could also try something like this, more plate – just in bronze (thinking chest only)

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I forgot to edit later on about it being either the more traditional looking spartan armor or the 300 armor since I like both armor designs. Thanks everyone so far.;

Good luck in your search. Unfortunately Anet has not provided quite enough armor types that would completely suit a historically Grecian bronze age soldier look or a 300 look. Footwear for heavy armor is either too primitive or too middle ages in design, for example. You can get close to what you are looking for, if you are willing to put up with a few inaccuracies.

It is hard to make a spartan armor with the current armorsets, I only liked this combo, what do you think?
