Sometimes I feel like my Norn Warrior is just a prick, ya know? He runs around all the time saying things like “my strength increases!” and “kill him!”. I’m thinking about having a talk with him and asking him to tone it down a bit. I mean he lives in this beautiful mountainous area amongst beautiful women who spend most of their time drunk. What could he possibly be so upset about?? Deep down inside I know he has a good heart and maybe, just maybe I can talk him into showing his softer side…..

He’s like a hyper viking.

My female norm mesmer has these verbals (out of others that I like):

“I did that!”
“I am awesome.”

Nothing like a big norm bragging. Its almost as good as the Asuri verbalizations.

I still can’t figure out what my norn says when she goes “I’m strong as…”

As what?

Bear.

I went with charm for my norn guardian. I found it funny when I finished the hare quest the guy NPC said the female NPC with him had a crush on my toon.

eh I assume this because you are a warrior. I have both male norn guardian and warrior, I can say the guardian one sounds more peaceful compare to the warrior one. The warrior one just seems angry all the time but I like that since I chose ferocity as the personality :P

Thanks for all your kind words. I had a sit down with my Norn compadre and tried explaining to him that he’s gonna give himself a heart attack with all this anger he’s carrying around. Well he didn’t like this at all and flew into a rage which ended up with him pulling a longbow on me. I told him it’d be a lot more scary if he would use a rifle instead and so he just stormed off in the direction of the Great Lodge mumbling something about “longbows aren’t only good for sieges…..”

Well, it’s a good thing you don’t have one then, right? I mean, if you want to use WoW terms go back to WoW and use them. You have a Norn character or profile; not a toon. And quite frankly, go play a different class if you’re so dissatisfied.

You must be a Norn toon as well with all that pent up anger.

The other races are just as jerkish, to be quite honest.

My sylvari elementalist couldn’t BE more conceited, for example. My charr engineer? Total. kitten. And don’t get me started the attitude of my asura toon.

Ya gotta figure, these characters are heroes. They’re going to have egos a mile wide. It’s kinda how it goes. Just run wit’ it.

I just love the way my norn necromancer says ‘’ I am death incarnate’’. I know that necromancer characters of other races say it as well, but his voice and tone make it sounds so much more kitten.

All the races do that, my human warrior shes always like “You know sometimes I think I am just awesome”

Norn are all about leaving a legacy, drinking vats of ale(sniff where is the mead?:(), fighting and most importantly….bragging and boasting! Your warrior is a stereotypical Viking I guess and you probably chose ferocity aswell? He just does his racial thing :P
Have some fun fights with him, drink some ales afterwards, talk about feelings and maybe it will be better!
