why does the personal story turn you into a human?
Well, I never found Jora to be particularly “Nornish” by your definition in game. It also depends on your personal story a bit, too. I know that the “lost in a fight” story has you pretty boakittenl. But I do get what you’re saying. They could use a little more Norn-sounding stuff.
Lol, your Norn storyline is way different then mine. So far I’ve had to get the wolf god to give me his praise, which turned me into a wolf when fighting the “Boss???”, and now I am forced into basically slavery with a Charr warband becuase I was drunk, stold their vechile was driving it through the countryside. I have had to speak to people who saw me fighting trees, in a drunken stoupor, and in the end of the night I parked the vechile somewhere, and can’t remember where I left it becuase I blacked out.

My story is very Norn-like. My character has spoken of his desire to hunt, and do great battle on many occasions and it really helps me shape his attitude. I even went to Hoelbrak to boast of a deceased Norn comrade after she fell in a great battle. …I chose revenge at the beginning and so far I’ve lost two Norn allies… and believe it or not it is almost like it motivates me to destroy Zhaitan that much more.
I can definitely agree that you start becoming less and less Norn like after you choose a faction to join, I think the way your character acts should be somewhat changed by your personality and Race.
Pretty much after your “racial” story is done (i.e. the faction story begins), the dialogue is the same for all races.
I chose Bear and so far all my story has been brawling left and right and how Tough I can be
Im big barbaric norn viking and tbh i sound like a good little pesky human. I try to not pay attention to it too much but it would be nice that my choices made a difference and especially my personality.

The passing out during a moot storyline was aces. You get conscripted into a Charr chain-gang… Err, warband, and you go rough people up and blow things to smithereens.

Oh lordy, hearing that made my day. I wish I had taken that story route.
