I remember when it came out the first time and people’s hearts were just crushed when they found out it was temporary (myself included ). I understand why though, something like SAB would get old and lose it’s luster and probably do more harm than good if it was around forever. So what I propose is doing something a bit in the middle. There was an activity rotation recently added that gives you a new activity every day. I know SAB isn’t the same type of activity like the rest, but I think SAB is something that so, so many people would love to stick around and could be a good fit for activities. If Anet is worried about it being too common they could make it a “rare” activity that only happens every few weeks or so. They don’t have to do achievements or even rewards once SAB is no longer part of the normal game. SAB is one of the few parts of the game where just playing it truly is it’s own reward.

The details can be up to Anet, but just adding SAB to the Activity rotation would surely make so many people happy.

Well, SAB is quite different from other regular activities. It keeps increasing, gives special sets of weapons and you don’t compete against other players. I don’t think it fits the bill for regular achievements.

Something like gemstore permanent access (you buy a console bundle that on use allows you to access it whenever you want) would work though.

I bet this is what is going to happen, but only after the game is finished (all the 4 worlds). Something like a "Handhold Super Adventure Box", or maybe a console inside our home instance.

The problem is this isn’t actually an activity. It’s a full-blown series of instances that act more like a dungeon than an activity. I’d like to see it eventually become a permanent addition to the game but not as an activity since it isn’t really one.

It’s not a traditional activity, but it could easily be made one, just finish a level to get credit for your daily. Or they could chose a random level. It’s not like the other activities, but I don’t see that as a bad thing.

It seems to make more sense to just periodically offer access to SAB or give a “home console” item that lets us play it when we want.

From the way Colin described it in one of his posts, it sounds like the SAB is intended to be a recurring event, similar to Halloween or Wintersday, rather than a permanent activity, like Keg Brawl.
