Anyone still doing SAB?....
You can solo all zones of SAB so far.
Everything is perfectly doable alone. It is just a lot more fun with friends.
When the content came out the lobby was full and people where playing it a lot. But the content is limited so almost everyone finished it by now and is playing something else atm.
Done everything solo so far, easiest way to do it. I only do my World 1 runs each day, and thats about it now. I do still need to run World 1 Trib mode one more time, and try world 2 trib (god I hate world 2 soo much, mostly due to length and soo much open instadeath spots).
Please give us a keyring…
Indeed, solo is the best way to do it.
I have finished everything on all modes, including tribulation, with all achievements, solo. Content heavily based on jumping is best done solo, imo, because in a party of 5 you are very likely to keep waiting for that one guy who keeps missing jumps, and that’s boring. If, however, you will be adding people to your party, be sure those people are going to stay because if they leave at any point during the run you will be kicked out as well, even if you created the instance.
I’ve done it all solo, and much prefer it that way.
It’s better and more efficient to do it solo. I think most people stopped doing it once they’ve gotten their achievements and TM skins. Anet made it very anti-farmable this time around.

If they leave your party, yes. Not if they leave the instance.
^^^ yea, definitely don’t ever leave party, or have anyone leave party if you’ve already entered SAB.
@OP – if you’re going for achievements, etc, solo is easier to clear. however, if it’s just for pure fun and exploration and laughing at one another’s demise, then full party can always be a good time in SAB. : ))

I’ve been hooked on Tribulation Mode the past few days. At first I didn’t think it’d be my thing, but if you have enough continue coins it’s not that bad. Most of the issues I had with the SAB are fixed now and overall it’s quite enjoyable. Still one of the better things added to this game.
I didn’t know people actually followed the 5 player recommendation lol. Pretty sure the April SAB said the same thing and almost everyone still did it solo. Since OP you said you did the SAB the first time around, did you actually do it with 5 people or did you do it solo? If you did it solo then there really was no reason to just walk away from World 2 now was there.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
Solo is good, except for certain bosses. I was fighting the frog boss in infantile mode (yes I can’t jump for squat,) and whenever I die the boss’ health goes back to full.
For the frog boss, when he looks at one direction, go to the furthest large pad away from that. You can the just double roll to avoid the stomp. It only takes 3 cycles to kill him so you technically could just eat the damage from the stomp.
I was looking forward to completing all the achievements and grabbing a few skins up until I started trib mode. Finished World 1 zone one. Then came World 1 zone 2, died like 30 times to the weird dodge jump at the 2 small platforms and the slam-U-boulder. After that I just gave up.
That turned me off to SAB totally. Several times I even made the jump and land on mid leaf on the other side and still died to lava, while not touching it. May have been a latency issue…I dunno. That one jump ruined my entire experience and outlook on the content. I gave it a shot, failed and vowed never to return.
I may change my mind when purple skins make it in. If players are getting some fun out of it, I’m glad…just isn’t me anymore.
You don’t need dodge jumps anywhere in SAB except for the bauble achievement for W2Z3 when you get the yellow bauble at the very end.
You’ll likely have to have beaten World 1 and 2 in TM before you can do World 3 in TM.
