So a question that a friend and I have about agony resist + ascended weapons:

If we put a +5 Agony resist infusion in our weapon, when we switch weapons in combat from that weapon to an exotic, do we lose the Agony resist?

If you have a shield equipped, and you swap to your greatsword, do you still get the bonuses from your shield?

I think it’s fairly obvious that these bonuses will only apply while active.

No but with certain sigils, such as bloodlust the effect carries over, although I dont think agony will.

Yes but bloodlust does give you an active icon on your status bar, agony resist does not.

But does it matter? This is high end Fractals you’re talking about, you have no business there without a full ascended set!

I think a question about agony bonuses is in a different realm than questions about what we have now.

Like you said, this will only matter when you need a full ascended set anyway.
