I spent about 1.5-2 hours working on this achievement, and finally beat World 1 Zone 3 on Tribulation Mode, only to have the achievement not count! I really, really do not want to go through the trouble to do it again… I did it already! Can someone please look into this?

I have proof that I completed it, and I did file a bug report, but I want to increase my chances of having my account corrected and my points awarded. Also if others have had the same issue then maybe they can also post about it here.

I’ve attached a screenshot with proof that I completed it, and that I didn’t get awarded the achievement. I have the “King Toad Z-3” item in my inventory which is awarded on completion. You can also see that I’ve completed “Tough Customer, World 1”, and the final shop is right before the boss fight.

I think what may have been the cause is, just after I beat the King Toad, I died, and respawned at the checkpoint. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, I died again from stepping on a trap while waiting to move onto the bonus stage.

I’d really like this corrected and my points awarded. It was almost 2 hours of my time, I have the reward and everything. I just want the points, please.

You have to be present by the chest when the timer runs out I believe… otherwise you won’t be credited.

Sadly, the policy on this seems to be that support cannot give out achievements to players. Whether this is a technical issue (for example, if they literally do not have the tools for the Support staff to do this) or not is unknown, but they have declined other players’ requests to be granted the achievement even though they have the same proof as you.

The requirement for the achievement, by the way, is that you stick close to where the chest spawned when the timer runs out. Which is, yes, a very annoying place to put the achievement, given the low timer in some Zones and the fact that other achievements only require that you kill the boss. I know this is no real comfort, but if you do replay the level, I’m sure you’ll find it goes much faster now, since you won’t have to worry about Forbidden Honey or Tough Customer, and you’ve already been through the route once yourself.

So the only suggestion I can make is to give yourself some time for the frustration to pass, and then try again another day. You have just over a week before it closes down, and it’ll also still be there waiting when the content returns with World 3 later down the line.

inside the chest? ive had a bunch of runs where i didnt get the master of baubles achievement. i may have not been standing in the chest….. its such a lame bug though.

Well then I guess I have no choice but to do this again… sigh. That’s really crappy design.

Exact same thing just happened to me. Got the chest, decided to dig while I waited for the timer and dug up a bunny which knocked me into the acid so I was up by the checkpoint (in fact I think I fell into the acid up there right as the timer finished counting down).

I spent over FIVE HOURS on this zone. This is not an acceptable way to code achievements. First the fiasco with the Invasion Canceler (I must’ve spent thirty hours on that due to having to do almost every zone 2-3 times) and now this.

W1Z3 can be completed in under 20min once you know where to go and where all the traps are. It’s SO much easier the 2nd time through and every subsequent run after that.
