Mostly a thread for lols. I had always assumed that winding up in lava rooms meant instant death in Trib mode, but I found myself surprised today in W1Z2’s trib mode when during the beginning, after missing a jump pad, I did not immediately die despite going through the floor.

Turns out I had landed on the smallest of ledges, still above the pool of lava itself. Despite a noble attempt though, I was unable to make it back up to solid land, and proceeded to re-enact the deaths of the Terminator and T-1000 in T2.

I dunno. Just something that happened in SAB that amused me.

heh, ya I landed on a ledge down there once or twice when I was learning world 1 and hadnt quite figured out all the jumps I could actualy make. even had one time where I landed in such a way that my character looked knee deep in the lava but was still technicly on a ledge and therfor not on the kill zone.

In w1z1 after the 1st checkpoint, at the first lava pool, you can actually fall on one of those ledge and make it back up on solid floor… I even thought it was the intended way to go until I was shown the “correct” (and much easier) path ^^

In w2z3 me and a fellow adventurer ended up being knocked back onto deadly spikes, but due to being invulnerable from the initial damage, the spikes would not kill us. You could basically just run through the spikes freely from that moment on.
