Question is pretty much in the title.

Do you have to fully complete and beat W1 to play W2? Or could I just start W2 with a group of friends who completed W1 from last event?

That’s a good question. You must have completed World 1 to access World 2, but I don’t know if everybody in the party must have completed World 1, or just the instance starter has to.

If some one in your party has done world 1. You can all start from where they are I assume.

Note that you only need to have finished the first world in kiddy mode.

And as you start in a sort of starter area, where you must pick a world, I too assume only the instance starter needs to have finished it.
