I have already placed this in game bugs but I thought I would warn people hear as well. I played Super Adventure Box for about 30 minutes with 22 hours on my Birthday Bonus, and when I finished playing I noticed that my Birthday Bonus Buff was completely gone.

It warns you that it’ll remove all the buffs active upon entering the SAB.

So basically if you don’t want to waste your birthday bonus you have to play for 24 hours before playing SAB. Although it may be my fault for not reading the text about the buffs, it still makes no sense why they would force you not to play SAB by taking away a buff as big as the birthday bonus if you do.

There’s a warning in bright red text before you enter the SAB hub that you’ll lose all buffs upon entering. It’s so that no one can perform any shenanigans by importing buffs into a game mode that is structured completely differently from normal gameplay.

If it makes you feel any better, I could send you some cinnamon pinwheels. Those give like 20 vitality for a whole 30 minutes.

I think this is pretty crappy timing. I think the real issue is not that it removes buffs, but that they release this content that removes buffs right after release players get their birthday booster. Having to either lose it, or skip the content is not very cool.

well even if there is a warning sign, you lose the boost when entering the hub but dont get warning before entering the sab. so you basiccaly get a warning after you already lost the boost =\ atleast i lost my birthday boost after just entering the sab boost, saw the message and went outside again to continue with another character but noticed then that my boost was gone =
