I just did FE and only got 3 dragonite ore from the chest.. I really hope this was not intended.. considering there is like 10 world bosses you can do per day, temples that never get done or are already half done by the time you fid them, and wvw also only gives 5. Is this supposed to take like 3 months to get enough of these mats?

Try Jormag. I’m assuming they’ve scaled the amount.

The temples also give the ore (when they previewed it, they said temples gave something else). Grenth is “one of the hardest events in the game” so it should give the maximum. Try that.

I got 16 from Shatterer. It could be random, but I assume its scaled to bosses value. The dragons and higher level ones may drop more. FE is kind of a low stage boss I guess, same with Maw and such, I don’t expect much ore from them sadly.

Jumping puzzles are entirely random on the Empyrean fragments though. I done 13 (some in Orr, some very hard, some very easy, some starter areas, LA) and got varying degrees of 3 – 9. Imagine dungeons are a little more fair on drops. But I got 56 fragments for 13 jp.

Scaling does seem to be a factor – I got 9 from Shadow Behemoth, and someone posted in chat that they got 5.

Got 25 from the Golem, guildies got 20 and 22. So that seems like a solid choice.

It just seems like this is going to take a long time to get the mats for :/

Thats not bad at all. Maybe my server will stop being lazy now and do temples…

Dragonites are relatively okay. I’m not so sure about the empyreans though – they seem the hardest obtainable from the three now.
