I am really hoping they boost the Elementalist and Guardian weapons such as volcanus, mjolnir, foefire’s power, foefire’s essence, etc. into ascended. I just feel that something you spend 300+gold on should have the same stats as ascended. Most would say transmute it it to the new ascended gear, but we shouldn’t need to. They most likely won’t boost them; I just wanted my thoughts put down.

Isn’t that why people get legendary weapons. Unless you just like purple text better than orange. Last i checked most people transmute their legendary’s.

it is however a legendary costs on average 5x more hehe

plus i guess if they were to raise all manner of high end weapons to ascended then not as many people would be using the new systems to craft said items since all there weapons will have been auto upgraded

Except legendary weapons require much more than a handful of skillpoints, crafted materials, and lodestones in a mystic forge.

You’ve got the skin. Transmute it with an ascended weapon and then you’re done.
