So… my friend and I just finished Tribulation Mode World 2 Zone 3 after a LOT of work, and the chest was empty. No “Storm Wizard Z-3” coin…

Can we PLEASE get a fix on this or something? I don’t know if tribulation chests are considered the same as normal mode chests so it didn’t reset, but I’m honestly going to be really disappointed if I don’t get the coin. That took so much work. :/

I’m Maokai (the guy that was doing TM with him), and it really does suck that we put about 2 hours into finishing just this level and not even being able to open the chest. A fix or something would be really nice for this, or even clarity on the chests.

No, this was the first time doing 2-3 Hard Mode ever.

I think I had a similar issue as Arys quite recently.
I did every Hardmode today and finished the one for World 2 Zone 3 around 40 minutes ago. Every other chest had baubles (Mini-Bosses) and a token for a skin.
As for the Storm Wizard, I only found an open chest.

Is there a maximum for rewards from chests for Hardmode ? (@Vince)

This is exactly what happened to us. All other chests gave the token, however this one was open and empty. I kind of hope they’ll replace our coins, I’m not desperate to do that again.. :/ Especially if it STILL doesn’t give one!

I hope this gets fixed soon I don’t want to go through wasted effort like the OP I hope there will be some compensation

Any follow-up, Vince? I don’t know if I’ll get the coin if I do it again still, not that I want to do it again.

How exactly did you finish W2 Z3 without upgrading your Candle? I can see on your skill bar it isn’t upgraded.

I’m a bit scared now. I am almost at the endboss of W2Z3 TM too. I hope I get a coin this mode is really hard but really fun !

Unless the daily has reset you will just see an already opened chest. Something similar happened to me, I reran and have no coins to show for it.

It has reset, I completed it without the coin at about 6pm est (reset at 8pm est).

I’ll report back whether it works this time soon.

I’m glad to hear you got your coin! I’m terribly sorry you didn’t get it the first time around; we’ll keep looking into what might have caused that.

If I had to guess, the game just got confused with the chests since I’d done 2-3 Normal mode that “day”. I’ve noticed various cross-over glitchy moments like this, such as while doing normal mode 2-2, I saw some TM spikes and a cloud flag, despite them doing nothing since I was in Normal. Best of luck fixing.
