Annoyingly tedious to retry, tacked on to an already long zone. Glitchy movement pair with insta kill obstacles. Horrendous camera angle. It screams ‘f**k you player’ in the most tedious way rather than ‘overcome this’.

Simple to do if you open your eyes, no precise movement necessary as the gongs hitbox is HUGE compared to the visible gong making it easier for the player, incredibly easy to skip via at least 2 different methods if you hate it so much. ;3

I’ve done it a few times now and at points it simply doesn’t stop the arrow traps, which is either lag or pure bs glitching. Care to enlighten me on skipping?

1.- Hit the gong
2.- Suicide
3.- Run quickly until you reach the first ramp
4.- Wait for gong, it’s coming yet
5.- Use it as a shield only for the three last traps

Bonus: Once you are out, look for a black stone to disable a trap out of the castle. So if you die, you can avoid repeat all of this again.

But… how is method 2?

That’s the only way I was able to beat it. Following that gong all the way down is too tricky because the gong itself is big and moves too fast for you to keep track of which side you need to be on. I think they should recolor the dart traps to be a little more obvious, maybe a lighter red but not too much. And they should make that gong go about 20% slower so you have time to huff it to the other side. Or just make all the dart traps on the same side of the gong somehow.

If you follow the gong, I think it’s safer to change your side crossing his path instead of doing akittens back. Anyway, it’s very hard and you still need to know the position of every trap

2-2 is a pain if you don’t take the shortcut

Whilst that method is useful (and probably unintended) as well as having our lord and saviour the Eagle, it’s a huge tedious pain normally. There should be a checkpoint as soon as you’ve done it.

Once you’ve played TM, you realize that there’s nothing unintended :P

I found this sequence is a lot easier, if preceded by an elaborate variety dance act, while you sing the song “Anything Goes”.
