Just wanted to say that this time it was even better than the last Really guys, great design. It is fun, challenging, clever, and exciting. I have only dabbled slightly in TM, but I am sure I will have a great time in there. One thing I really like about SAB so far is the difficulty curve… It feels spot on with a lot of old school games. The first level is about as difficult as a first level is, and the second level is about as difficult as a second level should be. The only small gripe I have is that I think it should be a bit more rewarding. After the arduous climb up the mountain and fierce battle with the storm wizard, the sense of personal satisfaction was great, but the 2 bubble baubles and continue coin I got felt almost like a slap in the face. I feel that content which has rewards built into it is much better when those rewards feel in line with the effort required to obtain them. Anyways, that’s all, just wanted to say great work and keep it up
it is the worst

I’m seeing a ton of complain threads. Please tell me I’m not the only one who thought this was amazing, and would love to see an even more challenging stage next time around?
I liked it too. Nice music, themes, loved sliding in the ice.
Tribulation mode is indeed hard, though only in a trial-and-error fashion mostly.
I agree with that bit about the rewards. The main problem is more that SAB itself is available for a limited time. If it was 24/7 on that little corner in rata sum, I’d have no problem at all with this reward system. I’m not sure why it has to be removed and then come back in the first place…
I agree Gaiyeerishima Cat. I absolutely love this mode, but i do believe what people are complaining about is “i don’t care that others like this content, if I don’t like it it shouldn’t be there” and “how dare you give achievement points for something that can’t be solo’d by a 3 year old with a mental disorder”.
In all honesty, these “Achievements” in SAB World 2 are as of now the Only ones in the entire game that actually feel like ‘achievements’ to me. All others i’ve obtained so far were not rewarding at all, as there was never any challenge to begin with.
Personally, i love SAB. But then again, the thing i liked the most about GW2 before that were Jumping Puzzles. Some people like them, some people hate them. I just don’t see why people instantly start whining when updates don’t fit their tastes, acting like they NEED those achievement points. What for? Some boosts you have almost no use for anyway…?
@The developers of the SAB: Thanks! Best update since launch imho.
I’ve only done world 2 in easy mode so far, but I’m looking forward to trying normal. I’m having a blast in the game.
I’m having an absolute blast with world 2. Zones 2 and 3 are easily my favorite zones and finding all the hidden rooms is even more fun than world 1.
I’m hoping that the dev that created this will see that a lot of people love world 2 and that the complainers are just the vocal minority. The last thing I’d want is for him to think he has failed with this content just because some people can’t handle a challenge.
I agree. Although i believe he already expected that many people will complain about this. People always are noisy when they don’t get everything for free ;3

Great I am glad to hear that some people agree with me

Rapids are too glitchy and annoying.
Rapids are too glitchy and annoying.
For glitches i recommend to file a bug-report. Although the Rapids worked perfectly fine for me; it might be worth looking into though if something is wrong.
They put so much effort into world 2 it’s astonishing. The little sidestory with the genie, the extra JP in the hub, the fight with the Storm Wizard, Shortcut Eagle, all the mechanics introduced (slippery terrain, pushing blocks, reflecting projectiles, dropping icicles, etc etc), the hilarious enemies (lol at the hillbillies).
Josh and his team are really passionate about their project, and it shows. Quality is top notch. Only complaint? Too lag-sensitive.
Also loads of the disappointed players are due to an excessive difficulty in normal mode. As someone who just finished and enjoyed it, I think w2 would’ve been perfect (difficulty-wise) as w3.
I have many complaints regarding this release, from design decisions to bugs that won’t be fixed to outright lying about MF gear conversion.
But credit where credit is due. SAB is really well done. The difficulty makes me curse without making me feel helpless. Pain Cliffs was amazing from a visual perspective. The whole thing feels epic. Great job on this!
I think it’s pretty good overall. w2 could have been designed better, though. One giant jump puzzle was a bit excessive.
