Guild Wars 2

Most of my guildies have been playing for a pretty long time. Theyve almost all done SAB 1 achies etc and have no interest in redoing it. I dont think they should do that for me either.

I was on a holiday during SAB 1. Hence I dont have any of the upgrades or the achies.
Now im trying to do SAB 2 with my guildies, hoping that it wasnt mandatory to have done sab1 first… And what happens? I dont have the coin purse, so I cant even buy the items in world 2. I first have to go back to SAB 1, solo everything, get all the upgrades, and THEN I can join my guildies who are by then probably fed up with SAB2 yet.

Why oh why arenanet do i have to grind for another currency all by myself in an isolated instance, for a worthless currency thats only usable in that instance, just so I could actually play with my friends in that instance?

And how am i supposed to get baubles? I cant use the dig spots because theyve all been severely reduced in world 1. I really dont know how im going to get 1000 baubles + unless I decide to sit here the entire day, running alone in world 1, killing monkeys.

I really cannot express how disappointed I am. I even bought an infinite continue coin, but its of not much use to me now, unless I decide to first grind a solid 24 hours…

Really can’t see what the problem people are having with this. Granted, I didn’t play the first go around so I guess I wasn’t spoiled by the supposedly higher amount of baubles that were obtainable. Even just going one run through world 1 seems to give about 250 for like 40 minutes. If you don’t like participating in the event then why waste your time?

With the right path, and secret stashes it was possible to get over 250 baubles every single time just doing zones 1 and 2 of world 1 in 5-10 minutes. That’s not really a thing anymore. You can only get the stashes once a day, and the rewards are reduced.

As for how to do it, I Dulfy may still have the guide up. It’s very comprehensive and simple to follow.

It takes a couple complete runs to get enough to finish everything. That’s always been the case.
