I have not seem the boom box in game but I hope the mute instruments option works with it as well.

I don’t care I don’t want to hear it at all. After messing around with Stupor Adventure Box for way to long (about 4 hours total in my case) that music makes me want jam pencils into my ear drums and then jump out of a 50 story window.

lol. I have to agree. The SAB music is horrible. Then again, it’s a perfect representation of most of the terrible and repetitive old-school game soundtracks.

To be fair, I also know people who have gone Akitten SAB just for the purpose of recording the music, so to each his own.

And I was just telling my friends how awesome I think the SAB music is lol. Different strokes for different folks. I will admit that come hour 2 it gets a bit old, but that goes for anything in my book.

The boombox! It’s all about the boombox for me!

I’m in love and so happy about getting this item!

The music in SAB is really, really great and so true to form for retro game music.

In a way, the boombox kind of negates all the evil feelings I had towards World 2 and the dig site change.

I’m really happy to have this boombox!

What songs does the boombox play? I assume the 3 World 1 zone themes, maybe the dark forest area in Zone 2, and… what else? I’m secretly hoping its the April Fools day 8-bit remix of the character select theme, but I doubt it (that would make me buy the thing right away though, loved that song).

Just the World 1 themes. I imagine we’ll have to buy another boombox for every world.

I’m missing something by playing with the music off?

I’ve had "issues" with game music since San d’Oria and FFXI. On the plus side, bagpipes made me flee in terror before that anyway.
