Hello! The reason why I am posting is that a GM told me to. I am not the only one who feels like making Super Adventure Box a permanent feature is a fantastic idea, although as game forums historically go, this idea will probably be met with much player refusal just because that is the nature of game forums; the dissidents are always more vocal than those in agreement. This post is for hopefully someone with power to read.

My girlfriend and three of her friends have all seen Super Adventure Box. They play other MMOs, WoW and SWTOR, specifically, but they have not purchased GW2. All four of these people have told me that if SAB is permanent and will not be removed at any time, they would buy this game immediately. If four MMO players that I know personally would buy GW2 on the basis of SAB alone, after which they would inevitably fall for GW2 itself, how many MMO players out there would do the same if they knew about SAB? One of the four has been going out of her way to spread how awesome SAB is, and she has already heard similar ideas in her social circles—that if this were permanent, GW2 would make some new sales fast.

Hopefully this gets through to the right people, and it is decided as static.

Would be nice indeed. Also, due to tribulation mode, we also have a rather large quantity of rewards to acquire. Not being pressured by time constraints would make it better, imho.

I would love to be able to explore the dungeon on my own time. It would be a great addition to the game if they made it permanent. Sadly, they will probably insist they have to remove it for one dumb reason or another.

Oh wow, I would LOVE for super adventure box to become a permanent fixture in the game. It is easily my favorite bit of content. Even if you stripped it of rewards and achievements in between wolrd/living story releases I’d still be there almost every day.

ArenaNet, this is some of the finest new content you’ve done so far for GW2, although your past event additions has been very entertaining as well, this deserves to be permanent for all new and old players to enjoy as it’s hopefully expanded upon. I still would like to see SAB permanent, instead of it being yet another give and take away again event, only being around for periods of time, before going into hibernation until the next time it appears.

I have a feeling Anet will make the SAB permanent when world 4 is finished and the super adventure is complete. Considering everyone and their mother is begging this month and last month for this to be permanent.

I actually didn’t enjoy it at first, but after awhile I think I’ve started to become addicted.

The gameplay in SAB is so different from the regular GW2 experience that I find it rather refreshing. If I’m not in the mood to do normal Save Tyria stuff, I usually find myself playing a round or two in SAB instead. I’d love to see it stick around as a permanent feature.

As far as limited availability skins go (I know a few people want to keep their event-based skins exclusive), perhaps put in a permanent version like what was done with the moa races.

Id love it to be permanent because it’s a game within a game. this keeps it fun for me. also, I’d like to spread out getting the achievements instead of grinding them and not having fun in SAB anymore. plus I spent 30g on the infinite coin and would like to keep using it lol good suggestion.

I too would absolutely LOVE for SAB to become a permanent fixture in Tyria. Make it so ArenaNet!

I think the plan that would make most sense would be to take it down for now, which is what they’ll do anyway, bring back in a few months with world 3, then a few months later bring it back with all 4 worlds and keeping it permanent. This content is loved by a large portion of the player base and having all that work done and then take it down forever would make no sense.

+1 for permanent. Considering that it’s not related to a yearly celebration like Christmas or Halloween, etc. I don’t see any reason for why it shouldn’t be permanent. And I also hope that in the end SAB will be back with all the previous skins.

I’m definitely going to buy Moto’s Super Adventure Box for my home instance +1
