I just did “master of baubles” and no achievement.
Did today’s patch broke it? (21.09.2013)

I just wanted to try again this achievement for W2Z1 but when I see that Z3 doesn’t work either I rather not to.

I just got it yesterday before the update following Dulfy’s guide for the last yellow bauble I could not find.

If you do it perfectly following Dulfy’s guide and didn’t get it, then it may be bugged again.

People have been reporting not getting the achievement even since the original Tequatl patch, when it finally seemed to be getting awarded. With cases like this, it’s tough to know how much of the reports are just accidentally missing a particular bauble… but there’s enough reports that some intermittent bug may be likely.

If there is still a bug related to this, then it’s hard to know what to suggest. I will note that a decent run through 2-3 will take about 35 minutes when you know what you’re doing (either on Infantile or Normal). Some people getting the bug have said they were in the map for 2+ hours, so perhaps there’s a time factor to all this? Possibly not, but if you’re determined to get the achievement, then persistence should win out, and you’ll be faster as you learn the route.

I did it twice yesterday with a guildie, and seems like its still broken.

People are missing one. I’ve seen six people claim it’s still bugged only to later claim they missed one and have gotten it. I suggest recording your run and then reviewing it to see which one(s) you keep missing.

I just attempted to do the achievement right now. Followed the video guide exactly. Didn’t get anything. This is my second failed attempt in a row. The first time I got disconnected towards the end. Please fix your game. This is incredibly frustrating.

I just finished trying to do this achievement and did not get credit. Took 2 hours because I verified every bauble with the screenshots, not just follow Dulfy’s video guide. Started off at 750 baubles and finished with 750 baubles, I hope its not related to not being able to accrue additional baubles if already at 750 baubles.

I just did it according to Dulfy’s video/written guide, and I got it. You guys did kill the storm wizard, correct? You have to kill him and wait a bit (don’t think it was more than 10 seconds), and you should get it.

I would have been EXTREMELY kitten ed if I hadn’t gotten it, cause it took me close to 4 1/2 hours to do it. God I wish these achievements were done like the secret ones, at least that way wouldn’t have to worry about it being lost just cause of a disconnect.

I know 7 others who got it last night. Chances are people are missing a bauble or not finishing it completely by killing the final boss.

im very sure w2z3 master of baubles is bugged out again. i did it with a friend and he got the achive while i did not although we were following eachother exactly… wasted a few hours

Fix it Anet. Claiming its not bugged is a lie. ppl play mmos for a sense of progression. wasting 2+ hours doing what you think will be an achievment and not getting it its just plain stupid.

I finished it on Saturday evening and it worked fine, using Dulfy’s guide. It would be nice though if these kind of achievements had some tracker within SAB to know your progress as it is quite frustrating to reach the end and then find out that you missed something. Especially something that takes so long and is prone to be interrupted by DCs (which happened twice to me this Saturday).

i got master of secrets and the storm wiz backpiece on the run i was also after master of baubles, so mayb thats wat bugged it out for me im not sure… but i redid the whole thing and i can’t get it still

I got the bauble achievement on Saturday, not sure this makes a difference but I didn’t get hit by any owls.

This was the case with the first release in April: getting baubles while your bag was full didn’t count toward the achievement, even tough the baubles still disappeared as you got them.

Likely this applies to this release as well. A fix, or at least some warning, would be greatly appreciated.

Just in case, I made sure never to reach my limit (by buying lives, keys, potions…) and got my achievement no problem yesterday.

Have done this three times and no achievement yet.

I hate dem bananas so much.
I hate dem mountain goats even more.

Storm wizard’s dragon form is cute tho.

I got my Master of Baubles achieve just fine even though I hit my 750 cap about halfway through the stage.

Can someone who is having issues please upload a video of your attempt?
