Risk/reward in SAB, World 2.
I agree – the first time I ran w2 the first thing I realized was the lack of baubles.

Once you memorize where the dart traps are, it’s very easy. You can actually see where they are too and the one building with them follows the same pattern for most of the floors.
For the piranha building, you don’t have to go inside. They actually jumped through the doors which made it easier to grab them and take up to the octopus.
I’m still wondering where all the baubles are in World 2. Supposedly there’s a whole bunch of them, but I haven’t found them. I’ve come across some places which I would swear is a dig spot, but then there’s nothing. And then I’ve come across some chests, but I don’t have any keys. Pretty much all over the baubles just out in the world are 20s at best, and usually guarded by a bunch of mobs.
Since world 2 requires a lot more item use, I’m basically just breaking even.
Hello again.
While I can agree with you, that is no problem to either memorize thing, or learning how to play, my concern is still that even if I do the whole thing without a single life lost, I still get little to no reward. Comparing to world 1, where apart from beedogs with baubles there were secret caves as well as digging spots containing stuff too. World 2 appears only to be bauble/life sink , and this I find as a stupid mechanic – farm world 1 just to lose everything in world 2. Like I said there is no balance in reward/risk factor. Also world 2 appears to be more based on luck than skill. I mostly died because asassin threw me out of platform , oh and also the room filled with darts and orange frogs was pain in the butt too.
Edit : Yes as Coldin sait. What is the point of keys, when maybe I have found like 1 chest where in world 1 were like 10 ?
Post edited, just like the rest.

I equipped the bombs and killed them from the door. I tried sprinting through it the first time and kept dying.
And also there is no better thing, than seeing merchant with a tool worth 400 baubles, that is essential to complete the game segment. You do not have money ? Well too bad run again our path of death. Most of baubles are lost due to bomb/slingshot. And the fact that during your journey you get little baubles , playing world 2 seems to be pointless.
The only tool I believe that is mandatory is the torch. I haven’t checked to see if there’s a way around using it. There was a screenshot with someone at the end that still had the candle so there may be.
I wouldn’t say there’s much risk but there should be increased rewards if it takes more time overall to complete the zone.

Only way getting through without the torch would be some super secret path no one has found yet. And there’s still a lot more ice walls that have to be melted after the first one anyway.
Also, you need to get at least the slingshot to break the icicles, but I imagine most people can afford that after going through World 1.
The 400 cost upgrades are a bit much though. Especially now that getting baubles is just once per day per account.
One thing I REALLY dont like about W-2 Z-1 is that a few secret areas that had baubles in april are now just empty “shells” without baubles (basically rooms with no purpose at all)
I used this guide to find a ton of dig locations in world 2 zone 1: http://imgur.com/a/YuELG

That person probably let someone else that had a torch melt the walls.
