Guild Wars 2

First time doing the SAB as i was on hiatus the first time it came around. I have only had time to logon and do World 1, Zone 1 at this time which i did solo. I notice it recommends a group of 5. What is everyone’s opinion on the necessity of a group? Does it get much harder thus requiring the group or is it tempered by player skill.

Ultimately, I am trying to determine how much time i need to invest on finding a group for this rather than just doing it solo as I have time.

Not really, they designed this game to be possible to solo everything. But if you are really bad at jumping puzzles, fighting bosses by yourself, or the jumping sections of SAB, it does help a bit to be in a group. It’s meant to be designed for people who has the skills and good timing reflexes to dodge deadly attacks and such.

Thus being said, I think the checkpoints in SAB are meant to be personal checkpoitns rather than someone running up to it for the party.

Well, at least this is what I heard about world 1, I heard world 2 is extremely difficult to try to solo it yourself.

Yep. For checkpoints, all members need to stand on a music key to lower the gate.

You don’t need 5 members though. You can solo, go with 1 person or 2.. it’s up to you really.

OK cool. My schedule is terrible I just didn’t want to invest a ton of time exploring SAB or trying to solo if i absolutely needed a group. Thanks for the feedback!
