Games of today are quick, simple and take little to no effort. When SAB first came out with world 1, it was just another. It felt like just a mini-game, another jumping puzzle. I still loved it though and was excited for world 2. (at this point I’ve been sitting here for 10 minutes now trying to think of what to say, but world 2 was so amazing it has left me speechless)
World 2 was the game I have been looking for… the game I have been hoping for. A challenge that took time, energy and thought. And it was fun. Each zone had unique challenges, not the same thing copied and pasted just with a new skin like most video games.
SAB, now, is more than just a mini-game. I’ve paid for several games that tried to replicate classic video games but they lacked the challenge and were done with in less than 2 hours. Waste. Of. Money. And SAB is free! I feel like a criminal, because I paid for one game and got two. SAB way past succeeded in recreating the type of gameplay found in classic video games and without the challenge, variety and difficulty I don’t think it would have.
I know SAB can be frustrating for some, but I do not believe its difficulty should be reduced. It would no longer be the rare gem that it is currently.
I’m only here because sometimes I just like to watch things burn.
