Tribulation mode is a joke. 50 Lives and still cannot get past 3rd checkpoint b/c of the BS rocks. I see what you did Anet.. made it like this to put in an infinite continue coin so we all pay you MORE money to do this. Well not happening for me.

And if people say it is suppose to be that hard.. No I disagree. For one I think the SAB should be doable by all. BUT it should require more challenge not this 1 hit and you are dead crap. That is just utter garbage. Seriously.. 1 hit and you are dead Anet!? Thanks for making me want to destroy my computer and uninstall the game.

Actually from my understanding of the twitch preview prior to the SAB release, Tribulation mode is supposed to be that hard. They don’t want ‘everyone to be able to do it.’ This way, when you earn a skin from that mode, its means a little more. It’s mark of prestige (or sheer stubborn determination, however you want to look at it).

Most people should be able to do the normal mode, and for those that can’t they have baby mode. Pick your poison.

I can see you are frustrated but think of it as a challenge to be overcome. Such as the Halloween Clock Tower Jumping Puzzle supposedly only 5% of the players were able to beat it. Tribulation Mode is supposed to be that hard as it is an extra challenge mode with increased rewards. Risk and reward. If you want an even more challenging game go play Demon Souls.

Even worse, OP, its kitteng minecraft. I missed SAB the first time around but I kept seeing people describe SAB as a super fun jumping puzzle section of content. Well, no. Its minecraft with jumps. Ugh.

Yeah it’s suppose to be that hard… all I am hearing. Yet time and time again Anet does things LIKE THIS to put in a item LIKE continue coin (infinite) to make money. Im done with sab and will NEVER go back to it. TY anet for ruining a little piece of what was once fun for me. Ill stick to the other crap atm.

Stop your whining, very annoying that people like you come and try to blame challenging content a cash grab. The developers very much care for the game and it must get super annoying listening to the forum whiners that every system in the game is some way to get more money from the player.

Back to SAB, if you actually took the time to understand how forums worked, then navigated your kitten kitten, over to the actual SAB thread you can see that there are discussions going on about the difficulty of the mode. This mode is not made to be beat in a few days, it is going to take time. So instead of kittening why not try to actually beat the level instead of whining on the forums about the level. If it is too hard stick with normal mode, or have an actual discussion about why you found it hard.

Also this game is suppose to be fun and challenging. Not just plan Challenging. If i wanted to play a challenging game with NO fun I woulda picked a different game!

First time I hear that Tribunal Mode is supposed to be fun. It suppose to be hellishly had from what I heard. It’s plain challenge with prestigious award. Not for everyone. Not for me definitely :P
If you want to have fun, Normal Mode is for you.

You don’t need the infinite coin. One bauble bubble is 5 continues with each giving you 5 lives. That’s basically 25 lives per bauble bubble. Doing one run through world 1 on normal will give you a ton of lives.

Please don’t mention DS and GW2 together again. DS is awesome, but not because of stupid camera gimmicks. DS is great because there is actual challenge. Maybe it’s just how I see the games, but I see it as an insult to DS in the same sentence as something like GW2.

The thing about DS, at least Dark, is that I would hesitate to call it a success. It ended up selling a little more than 1 million in the U.S., and a great many of those were heavily discounted.

That isn’t to say it’s a horrible game. It is a great game, for what it is. I don’t play the game to just have fun, because that’s not really the point of DS. It’s about a challenge, to say I can beat this. Once you do, there is nothing left. It’s useless. You pass it on to friends, or resell it, and you never look back. While good in theory, and at least somewhat profitable, compare it to games that are successful in the “fun” department.

I’m all for a challenge, when it’s properly setup. With DS that was the case. You have a challenge, you “beat” it, you trakitten and move on.

Now the application of that to an mmo? That’s just a horrible idea. You want people to keep playing, not put it down as done. At least that’s how I see it. I’ve done the jumping puzzles. Sure they were fun, but do I do them on a regular basis? Not a chance, for me they were fun once to say “yeah I did it”, but there is no “fun” to be had other than saying “yeah I beat it”

Tribulation mode is not for you.

Try Infant mode, might fit your playstyle better.

Tribulation mode is supposed to be hard and annoying, as it’s a homage to games such as “I wanna be the guy”. if you don’t feel like to beat it, then just steer away from it.
