I was wondering if all of the same achievements from this round will be available next time? I wasn’t just going to assume they were because the first set was. :P

I’m sure they’re all still going to be there since the whole of SAB is a reoccurring event.

I’m 100% sure the will be around.

Also: I would LOVE to see achievments for World 3 that include Don’t die on normal mode in W3-Z1, W3-Z2, W3-Z3! Or at least do a W3 zone without dying

I just hope that the Bauble hunting achievements will disappear for next installments OR that they’ll at least introduce a percentage counter while you’re doing the run so you know how many you still have to find.

Yeah, just make it save the total count like in Banjo Kazooie.

The bauble achievements are precisely why I don’t want to do any achievements this time. After spending 2 hours just doing W2Z1, arguably the easiest of the three, and not getting it (followed a guide, triple checked everything) I just didn’t have the interest or motivation to keep trying. Especially when every time I check the forums posts are saying they’re still bugged.

So, yeah, I’m hoping next time there’ll either be a counter or the achievement not reliant on a boss kill (even though players begged for that after the first installment and it obviously didn’t happen) or that the achievements will at least be functional.

(It also didn’t help that prior to attempting the bauble achievements I wasted 5 hours just trying to get the Baby’s Second Adventure achievement due to having to run through the whole thing twice because it was bugged as well. :\)

Well that’s not really a bad achievment design but a bug. The achievment is fine imo, bugs aren’t (althuough I did get all achievments at the first time).

A tracker would be very nice, but I read somewhere it can’t be (or it is very hard) to implement for some technical reason.

I do wonder how it would be hard to implement. There are so many quests/achievements that have a percentage counter towards the final goal that I cannot imagine it would be very hard to implement a counter towards collectibles such as baubles.

Another way would be to deal with it as they do with the secrets: Once you collect a secret it’s discovered forever in the achievement. You need not discover all secrets in one playing session. The same can be done with baubles, which would have as a positive side effect that time constraints become less of an issue.

Yeah, I tend to wonder about that too, but since I’m no programmer, and I have no idea about thier engine either, I just belive it.

You know what would be a super easy way to implenet this (even if it was not perfect)?

Place a sign which you can read (interact) at beginning/end of every level, that has the total bauble count. That’s it, the rest you can count with paper and pen.

Yep, not the most elegant thing, but still better then nothing.
